Coolwell Park: 

29N through Madison Heights.  Pass Wal-Mart and Sheetz gas station.  After passing Sheetz, go to the 5th light, take a right on Coolwell Rd (Quickie/Chevron will be on right).  Park will be 3.5 miles on the left.

APPOMATTOX

Appomattox Community Park:

From West or Lynchburg: Take 460 east to Appomattox.. Go past the cell phone tower on your left hand side to the second red and white painted large Police Tower also on your left. There is a used car lot on the corner. Make a left turn onto RT 613 (Police Tower Road). Go past the State Police building and the tower, the park is one mile from 460. The entrance to the park has stone masonry work on the right hand side. The soccer fields are visible from here.

From East or Farmville: Take 460 West to Appomattox and use the bypass to go around much of the city. Go past the traffic light and the Kroger shopping center, from this point go about one mile up to the large red and white painted tower on your right. There is a used car lot on the corner. Appomattox Primary School:

From Lynchburg take 460 East to Appomattox.  Take the first 460 Business Exit. Turn right at the top of the ramp. Turn right on Court Street (McDonalds on right).  Turn right onto Ferguson St. and Appomattox Primary will be on your right.  Fields are behind the school.

Old Appomattox Elementary School:

From Lynchburg take 460 East to Appomattox.  Take the first 460 Business Exit.  Turn right at the top of the ramp. Appomattox Elementary is 1/2 mile on the left past Wilbun's Grocery. Fields in back of the school.

New Appomattox Elementary School:

From Lynchburg take 460 East to Appomattox.  Take the first 460 Business Exit. Turn right at the top of the ramp. Turn right on Court Street (McDonalds on right).  Turn right onto Ferguson St. and continue to the stop sign. Turn left onto Lee-Grant Avenue. School is on the right. Fields in back of school.

Appomattox Middle School:

From Lynchburg take 460 East to Appomattox.  Take the first 460 Business Exit.  Turn right at the top of the ramp. Appomattox Middle is 1 mile on right.

Bedford YMCA: 

460W toward Roanoke.  Go past Golden Corral on your right and then Clayton's Homes on left.  Take next left on Turnpike Drive.  Go to the end.

BIG ISLAND

Big Island Elementary:  

From Bedford:   Take 122N towards Big Island.   Approx. 14 miles from Bedford, Big Island Elem. will be on left on top of a hill.   Look for School & Library signs, as both are located on the same grounds.

From Lynchburg:   Take 501N Bypass to 501N.   Stay on 501N approx. 10 miles.   Go through town of Big Island and take a left onto 122S towards Bedford.   School will be approx. 5 miles on right.

BODY CAMP

Body Camp Elementary:

Take 122 South approx. 8 miles to route 24 east.  Take left at stoplight onto 24 east.  Follow 24 east for approx. 2½ miles and school will be on the left. 

BOONSBORO

Boonsboro Ruritan:  

From 460 East take 501 N Bypass to 501 N.  At light take left to stay on 501 N, then take left on Coffee Rd (@Boons. Methodist Church) Ruritan fields will be on right 2-3 miles down Coffee Rd.

FOREST

Forest Elementary School:  

21 S to Route 841 at light in Forest.  Go past Jefferson Forest High School and Elem. School will be on left.

FYAA (811) Park: 

Take 221 North towards Forest.  Follow 221 N approx. 12 miles.  You will pass through 2 stoplights; travel approx. 1 mile and take right on route 811 at next stoplight.  Go through next light and complex will be on the right approx. 2 miles past the light. 

New London Academy: 

Take 460 East towards Lynchburg.  Travel apporx. 12 miles beyond Wal-Mart and you will approach a stoplight.  NLA is on the westbound side of the road (left) across from the Sheetz gas station.  Go through stoplight, but take immediate left to pull into the school.

GOODE

Bellevue Community Center:  

Take 221S to Rt. 668, which will be the first right after you pass the Goode Post Office. Remain on 668 for approx. 2-3 miles until you see Bellevue Community Center on your right.

Bedford S/T Center (formerly BECD):  

Take 460W to second Bedford exit.   Take a right off exit ramp onto 122N.   At bottom of hill take immediate right after bridge onto King Street.   Then, take an immediate right onto Liberty Street.   Remain on Liberty Street until you take right when you see the Bus Depot.   Field will be on your left.

Bedford County Recreation Dept:

460W to first Bedford exit.   Go straight through 4 traffic lights.   Take a right at 5 th light onto Fourth Street.   Go under RR underpass and take a left onto Bedford Avenue Extension (signs will point you to Elks Home).   Field is on the right after you pass the baseball fields.

Otter River Elemtary School: 

Take 221 South towards Bedford.  School will be on left approx. 8-10 miles from Forest.

HUDDLESTON

Huddleston Ruritan: 

Take 43 South from Bedford toward Altavista.  Approx. 11 miles beyond Bedford you will need to take a right where route 43 and route 24 split and stay on 43.  Stay on 43 for 2½ more miles until you get to Mentow Baptist Church where you will have the option to turn left to go to Altavista or stay straight and go toward Huddleston.  Keep going straight for one more mile, then take right onto route 626/Smith Mountain Lake Highway.  Stay on SML Highway for 6-7 miles, fields will be on the left. 

MONETA

Moneta Elementary:

Take 460W to second Bedford exit.   Take a left off exit onto 122S towards Smith Mountain Lake.   Approx. 12 miles from Bedford, take a left onto Old Moneta Road (1/2 mile past Moneta Farm Service).   Travel approx. 1/2 mile and school will be on the left.

MONTVALE

Montvale Elem. School (new): 

460 W approx. 12 miles beyond Bedford City.  School will be on the left across from Butterfield’s Golf Carts.

Montvale Library (old Elementary school):  

460W approx. 14 miles beyond Bedford.   Library is on the right immediately after Route 695 and practically sitting on 460.   Fields are behind the Library.

ALTAVISTA

Altavista YMCA: 

29S towards Danville.  20 miles south of the Lynchburg Airport, you will begin to see Altavista exits.  Take the 4th Altavista exit, (Rt. 43/Bedford Ave.)  Left at the top of the exit.  Stay straight on Bedford Ave. for about 3 miles until you come to a light (McDonalds on left).  Turn left at the light on to 7th Street.  Go through two lights then look for the YMCA parking lot and fields on your left.

Riverpark (Altavista): 

29S towards Danville.  20 miles south of the Lynchburg Airport, you will begin to see Altavista exits.  Take the 4th Altavista exit, (Rt. 43/Bedford Ave.)  Left at the top of the exit.  Stay straight on Bedford Ave. for about 3 miles until you come to a light (McDonalds on left).  Go through the first light and take a left at the second light on Main St.  Go through one light on Main St. then take a right at the second light on to Pittsylvania Ave.  Go less than one mile, cross the railroad tracks, the entrance to the park is on the right

YELLOW BRANCH

Yellow Branch Elementary School: 

Take 29 South to the intersection of Rt. 24.  Turn left on to Rt. 24, and then turn right into Yellow Branch drive almost immediately

29N to Main Street exit.   Go through downtown.   After last light in city, stay straight.   This becomes Rivermont Avenue.   Take Rivermont to Bedford Avenue (approx. 1 mile). Turn left onto Bedford Avenue. (Between Exxon & Rivermont Baptist Church Bedford Avenue intersects with Monsview.   Field on left at school.

OR:   Rt. 221 to 501N to Boonsboro Road.   Stay straight on Boonsboro Road towards downtown Lynchburg.   Boonsboro Road becomes Rivermont Avenue.   Turn right on Bedford Avenue (shortly past RMWC on left), which intersects with Monsview.   Field on right.

Centerary Methodist

The church is located at 1501 Rivermont Avenue, Lynchburg.
Take 29 N to Main Street exit 1A turn onto Main Street.
Continue on Main Street which will turn into Rivermont Avenue. Centenary will be on the left hand side (big brick church) fields are behind the church.

Peaksview Park Fields 8 & 9 

From 221:   Make a left onto Old forest Road (Honda dealership on left corner).   Take a left onto 501N.   Take first right on 501N (sign for Peaksview Park).   Make left to enter park.   Tennis courts, rest area, parking lot, and fields straight ahead.

From 460:   Take Candler's Mtn. Road exit.   Take a right onto 501N/29South exit.   Follow 501 through the intersection/light (Honda dealership will be on the left corner). Take a left onto 501N.   Take first right on 501N (sign for Peaksview Park).   Make left to enter park.   Tennis courts, rest area, parking lot, and fields straight ahead.

Peaksview 10 A, B, & C:  

501N to Old Forest Road.   Stay straight on Old Forest Road.   Turn left on Ardmore (Biscuitville will be on right).   Follow Ardmore 0.9 miles to park's main entrance.   Turn left into the park.   Go over footbridge and follow path to the right to the fields 10 A, B, & C.
