APPOMATTOX COMMUNITY PARK February 7, 2006
The Appomattox Community Park is making excellent progress. The scenery is simply breath taking. There is a real possibility for the recreational soccer teams to use some of the fields this spring. A building is also proposed to serve the soccer fields according to Gary Gilliam. Other non-soccer related parts of the park are just as impressive. The Frisbee golf field hosted the BRAWL tournament on Sunday, January 29th. The baseball fields are fenced. Read Gary's latest postings in more detail about the park's progress on our bulletin board.
